AI EmpowerED: Practical, Ethical & Future-Ready AI for Nevada Educators Format: Mondays • 4:30–6:00 PM • Google Meet Text: All materials provided Credit Options: 15-hour RPDP Certificate — No Cost Course Overview: This 5-session interactive series builds practical, ethical, and future-ready AI skills for Nevada educators. Participants explore responsible AI use aligned to Nevada STELLAR, learn with FERPA-aligned ChatGPT for Teachers, and gain hands-on experience with SchoolAI, MagicSchool, Diffit, Gemini, Perplexity, Nano Banana, Firefly, NotebookLM, and Khanmigo. Each week blends demonstrations, collaborative exploration, and classroom-ready tasks designed to elevate instructional planning, support diverse learners, strengthen assessment practices, and empower safe student-facing AI experiences. Learning Components: Interactive AI literacy lessons aligned with Nevada STELLAR Use ChatGPT for Teachers, SchoolAI & MagicSchool for efficient planning Differentiate and engage learners using Diffit, Firefly & Nano Banana Safely manage student-facing AI: SchoolAI Spaces, Raina, Khanmigo, NotebookLM Use AI for feedback, rubrics, communication, walkthroughs & future-ready planning Who Should Attend: Paras, teachers, specialists, coaches, counselors, administrators, and statewide PD leaders.
