Teacher academy, cohort 6
Purpose: A professional learning opportunity offered by the Northeastern Nevada Regional Professional Development Program (NNRPDP) to all educators in the six northeastern school districts. The Teacher Academy’s focus is the NEPF standards and indicators with the following specific goals: 1) foster student learning and growth and 2) improve educators’ instructional practices. The Teacher Academy is comprised of five full-day sessions that incorporate both whole group and small group learning.

Purpose: National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs) are recognized for meeting the highest standards in the profession. Join this cohort to work through the NBC components finding support through colleagues facilitators. Once certified there is a salary increase of 5%!

k-12 Endorsement in reading january 2020 cohort
Purpose: The Curriculum and Instruction Literacy RPDP (CILR) Program is an 18-credit program designed to help Nevada licensed teachers earn a K-12 Endorsement in Reading. Graduate-level courses are offered through the RPDP in collaboration with UNLV at a reduced rate. Courses are transferable into the UNLV master’s degree.
